On behalf of our client Capabel Onderwijs and several affiliated social enterprises, we have advised on their relocation to a new location in Rotterdam over the past months.
Educational institution Capabel Onderwijs and several affiliated social enterprises, including Jan Arends, Max Ernst, and Calder Werkt, are moving to a new location in Rotterdam. Starting January 2025, the organizations will lease office space at Posthumalaan 120. The lease covers a total of 4,684 m² and 35 parking spaces.
The office building is located in the modern Kop van Zuid district, directly behind the Wilhelmina Pier, a vibrant area just south of the Erasmus Bridge. The surroundings also host several major educational institutions, such as Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and VAVO Rijnmond College.
Capabel Onderwijs offers Ministry of Education–accredited vocational programs, industry and professional training, and courses in no fewer than fourteen fields. Marcel Lekkerkerker, Director at parent company Calder Holding, says: “With the move to this location, we are further strengthening our physical learning environments. The location in the heart of Kop van Zuid aligns well with our service area and is perfectly accessible by public transport. The building meets our sustainability requirements with an A+ EPC label and, after renovation, will be a pleasant place for our students and staff.”
